juonec4dmodels.poster@blogger.com, Everyone finds themselves in difficult circumstances at some point. And it’s in those times we’re often faced with making a choice: Will we trust God and obey him? The Bible teaches that one of our biggest struggles in life will be with God. That’s because we want to be in control. We want to be God ourselves. In the Old Testament, Jacob struggled with this issue of control even when he was still in the womb. He actually wanted to change the order of his birth! This tendency didn’t change when he got older. The Bible tells us, “Even in the womb, Jacob struggled with his brother; when he became a man, he even fought with God.” (Hosea 12:3, NLT) No matter what problems you or I face – whether they’re financial, physical, or relational – we have to decide whether we’ll work with God or against him.
