That means it’s an important character trait that he wants to develop in us, too . . .     I want to cultivate a heart of mercy         God Is Using You to Transform Lives Many people are dealing with tough circumstances, and Daily Hope is helping people like Bill stay encouraged and anchored in God’s promises. Dear Rick, Your podcasts and study materials have helped me tremendously this past year. A year ago, my wife, Linda, was told that her cancer had returned after surgeries were performed to remove the cancer. It was about that time I started to listen to you teach on the Daily Hope podcasts and I have been inspired ever since. This past October, Linda succumbed to Sarcoma after a 20-month fight. The time between finding out the cancer had returned till the time she passed was difficult, and your podcasts gave me hope in the future and wisdom on how to care for Linda in her final months. Since her death, the podcasts have been helping me understand where God is leading me. I now have the mindset that I am prepared for what God is asking me instead of praying for a path.
