The Bible tells us in Colossians 2:7 to grow our faith in God: “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness” (NLT). God also says he wants us to sow in faith. That means we learn to cultivate the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
