Happy Thanksgiving!

juonec4dmodels.poster@blogger.com,

The Bible tells us, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 NKJV).

Notice the Bible doesn’t tell us to thank God for everything. We’re told to thank God in everything.

There’s a big difference between the two. You don’t need to thank God for everything. You don’t have to thank God for cancer or the loss of a loved one.

But you can always find a blessing in your life to be grateful for.

Gratitude gets your eyes off of yourself and gets them onto others. Instead of looking at what you don’t have, grateful people look at what they do have.

The truth is, gratitude can change everything, yet we often take so much for granted. During this season of thankfulness, I want to encourage you to make a list of things you are grateful for. Start with 10 things, and then keep adding to your list. Your gratitude list will help you see all the good God has done and is doing in your life.

You are listed among the blessings on my gratitude list. I am grateful for your support, prayers, and partnership with Daily Hope. Together we are sharing the hope of the Gospel across the globe.

The Bible says, “Ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart” (Philippians 4:6 GNT).

God bless you!

Pastor Rick
