God loves you so much that he sent Jesus on a mission of love with a message of love. The Bible doesn’t say God has love; it says God is love. Love is his nature. And when he loves you, he pours it on.
Psalm 42:8 says, “Each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me” (NLT).
God pours his love on you all the time. There’s no greater example of this than God’s gift of Jesus.
The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 3:24,
“Out of sheer generosity God put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ” (The Message).
The greatest gift you’ve ever been given wasn’t bought in a store. No cash exchanged hands. God’s greatest gift to us was wrapped in swaddling clothes and placed in a manger.
And “to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12 NIV).
Your gifts and prayers this year have helped share the news of that greatest gift around the world. Thank you! Because of you, more people have “believed in his name” and now know the certain hope of Jesus Christ.
May you too feel the immensity of God’s love this season and always—which is poured out generously for you and me.
