juonec4dmodels.poster@blogger.com, No matter what this year has been like, we all have a reason to say thank you to God—not just because of what he has given to us but because of who he is. The psalmist writes, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 136:1 ESV). Learning to express our gratitude to God isn’t just something nice to do. Studies have shown grateful people tend to enjoy healthier, happier lives. That shouldn’t surprise us. The Bible said this thousands of years ago. Paul wrote, “Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT). Who wouldn’t want that kind of peace? This is why I want to encourage everyone to regularly tell God thank you. Expressing gratitude leads to the kind of life all of us long for. This year I’m grateful for you. Because of your faithfulness to partner with us through prayer and giving, people are hearing about Jesus all around the world through Daily Hope. You are an encouragement to me and so many others! God bless you! And to all of you who live in America, “Happy Thanksgiving!” Pastor Rick |
