You can have hope when life feels heavy!

These FREE resources will help encourage you.

juonec4dmodels.poster@blogger.com,

Every day, it’s becoming increasingly clear that our world desperately needs hope. Between a global pandemic, our recovering economy, and protests about racial injustice, life feels heavy at the moment.

But you and I know that we have an unwavering hope available to us through Christ—and I want to help you grab hold of that hope today.

For the past few weeks, I’ve been teaching through the book of James and I’ve been struck by how it begins:

“When troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing” (James 1:2–4 NLT).

Notice those final words—God uses your troubles to continue making you perfect, complete, needing nothing . . . what a promise! He is at work even in the darkest days.

To help you focus on God’s promises during this most difficult time—and share that hope as your faith grows stronger—I want to give you some free resources. I’ve gathered a few messages from the book of James for you to watch.

And, I’ve put together a list of encouraging Bible verses for you to reflect on and share with your family, friends, and neighbors. You can download them here.

No matter how challenging life gets, we always have access to the hope found in God’s Word—and in the Word itself, Jesus Christ. That’s what I pray you’ll find through these Daily Hope resources.

Each day is a new opportunity to step into God’s promise of joy. When your faith is tested, God is near and he is working to make you perfect, complete, and needing nothing.

So, consider it a new day for great joy—and walk in the hope you have in Christ!
