The uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus has tested us in ways we never could have imagined, but has also drawn us even closer to Christ and his unchanging truth. Psalm 119:89 tells us, “Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.” (NIV). The obvious question many people ask is why. Why is life so hard? Why is there suffering in the world? Job even asked that same question in Job 7:1. God’s promises and presence don’t change. He doesn’t move with the changing circumstances of this world. And that’s why it’s crucial that, through your prayers and financial support, Daily Hope continues to share those assurances and unending hope with people around the world every single day. That’s right! In the last 6 months, over 2,100 people have given their lives to Christ through the Daily Hope broadcast and devotional! And those are just the decisions we know about because people called or emailed to tell us of their life-transforming decision! But it’s not all about the big numbers and the worldwide impact.
