juonec4dmodels.poster@blogger.com, Today as I was praying, I thought about you. And I felt led to reach out and reassure you that God is in control. No matter what we go through, he is always there. He is with you even as we walk through this coronavirus crisis. As uncertainty and anxiety try to capture your attention, you can hold on to hope in God and his promises. He says, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT) God is using this difficult time to call people to him. He is using Daily Hope to both encourage the faithful and to reach the lost. He is miraculously opening new doors so we can share the Good News of Jesus with people who are looking for real and lasting hope in this time of trouble. Here are just a few examples: - A significant number of TV and media outlets are interviewing me and Kay about our faith during this crisis. This means we’re able to share the Good News with millions of people who do not know Jesus.
- Premier Radio in London is broadcasting Daily Hope. They reach over 1 million people in a country where less than 2% of the population is Christian.
- Fourteen radio stations in Africa are now airing my messages from Saddleback Church.
- “The Fish,” one of the largest Christian music station networks, just began airing my special message, “Defeating Fear During the Virus Crisis.” They are also broadcasting my current teaching. These music stations reach millions of people every day, and they do not typically air Bible teaching.
Daily Hope is able to walk through these open doors because of your generosity. Troublesome times, such as these, will often prepare people’s hearts to receive Jesus. It is your faithful giving that enables us to respond quickly to new requests for Bible teaching. Yet, I know some of you are out of work, or sick, or just struggling with the many issues we face from this pandemic. We want to pray specifically for you, so please email me at Rick@PastorRick.com and let us know how we can pray! If you are able to continue giving at this time, I want to encourage you to give now, because the fields are ripe and the harvest is full. God Bless, Pastor Rick P.S. I also want to give you some free resources to help you overcome fear with God’s Word. And so, I’ve put together a collection of messages that will help you focus on the certainty of God’s promise to care about you and your situation. |
